Easy Whole Wheat Cranberry Bread Recipe with a Dough Maker
Recipe Overview
This whole wheat cranberry bread is made with whole wheat flour, bread flour, sourdough starter, and dried cranberries. It has a rich grain aroma with a sweet and slightly tart cranberry flavor. The key steps are mixing all ingredients except salt and butter first, then adding the salt and butter, followed by the dried cranberries. After fermentation, dividing, shaping, and proofing, score the surface and pipe in softened butter before baking. The finished bread has a golden crust and a soft, chewy inside.
